Zundelevich, Aron Isaakovich (1854-1923)
Revolutionary narodnik. He was born in the Oshmyanskii uezd of Vilna province. He attended the Vilna rabbinical school before leaving to enter university. He was a member of a revolutionary Jewish group and was one of the founders of the "Land and Freedom" political party. After it split, he was a member of the "People's Freedom" executive committee. He organized the "Free Russian Printing House" (underground) in Petersburg. He was arrested in 1879 and released only in 1898; he lived as a deportee after his release. In 1906, he returned to St. Petersburg; in 1907, he emigrated.
